With its earthy and refreshing flavour palette, our Stawberry Gum Olive Leaf Tea is great after a rich meal or as a calming bedtime drink.
To brew, pop the kettle on and allow the water to cool a little (to about 80 °C) before pouring over the mix. Let it stand for 5 mins before removing the leaves and serving.
For something a little different, try brewing up a batch of olive leaf in a large pan, add dried orange peel, a couple of cloves and a decent dollop of honey, simmer gently, and enjoy as a perfect winter warmer. It’s great for keeping the cold at bay or served as a summer iced tea.
Perhaps my favourite way to enjoy this unique blend is to brew the olive leaf tea as you would normally. Allow to cool, then infuse with fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries — anything you have to hand), a slice of fresh lemon and a sprig of fresh mint. It’s incredibly cooling and invigorating on a hot summer’s day.
